The Data Visualization Group studies the interactive display and analysis of data. Often we are concerned with real-time visualization of data from any source. Thus our purview is information (and how it can be transformed into knowledge and understanding), scientific or engineering visualization, and closely related problems such as computational steering or multivariate analysis.
